Adrian Weckler – Technology Editor of the Irish Independent and Sunday Independent

Having graduated with a law degree, Adrian began his journalism career covering music, film and culture before shifting to business and technology. He became an assistant editor at The Sunday Business Post before moving to a role at The Irish Independent and Sunday Independent as technology editor.

His regular beats include telecoms, regulation, consumer technology, start-ups, cybersecurity and the corporate tech industry. He also covers developments in tech-adjacent beats, such as the emerging electric-car market and the social media industry.
