Measures to assist property owners in Mountmellick to improve resilience to future interim flood events.

Laois County Council have opened a scheme to property owners for the provision of grant aided flood barriers/protectors. Laois County Council will grant aid up to 50% of the cost of standard protective barriers (subject to a maximum monetary limit) for those properties impacted by the most recent flood event. This scheme is open for applications and is being administered through the Capital Projects Office.
