Mary Ryan – Deputy CEO WestBIC
Mary has a broad experience and skill set working with entrepreneurs and High Potential Start-Ups, across a range of developing and emerging industry sectors. This includes the provision of tailored supports to innovative companies in the key areas of business planning, international market validation and developing marketing strategies.
This experience has also been put into effect through her practical contribution on a number of transnational projects, supporting enterprises to scale internationally. Mary fills regular speaking roles on key issues including innovation, creativity and women entrepreneurship as well as academic inputs in the areas of entrepreneurship and business development.
With over thirty years of experience working with start-up companies, Mary also holds a Masters in Commerce from the University of Galway focused on Entrepreneurship
